Looking through the family archive, I found a photo with my daughter and suddenly realized that I made my first hat 25 years ago.
Our passions are always with us. From the early days of childhood, they whisper into our ears and call for creative endeavors, where time flies by as we take on something with utmost dedication and joy.
Playing with fabrics, sketching clothes designs, and styling everything that looked like an empty canvas was something that I've done my entire life.
Back in the Soviet time of fashion material scarcity, I upcycled everything that I could get my hands on. I knitted my own sweaters, where I had to buy woolen socks only to pull the yarn out to make something that i liked, that was unique. Even the hat in the picture is made is made out of old jeans.
The times are different now, but old skills and the eternal search for improvisation stayed the same. I am very happy that i could turn my passion and my second nature into something that I can share with others today!
Thank you all for your support!
